The basic tasks module is designed to train surgeons in the basic skills of minimally invasive procedures. The module consists of didactic tasks in all fields of laparoscopic surgery, in a non- anatomical setting.
Tasks resemble those that are performed during surgical tasks at an increasing level of difficulty.  The module enables training generic skills such as camera navigation at 0° or 30°, instrument navigation, manipulation of objects and clipping and cutting.
