Simbionix offers a set of two modules for Lower GI Endoscopy. Each module contains 10 virtual patients complete with case histories, biological test results and x-rays. Trainees will encounter true to life situations such as intestinal looping, complex colon anatomies and patient discomfort while performing procedures.

Practice on the cases provides trainees with the following opportunities:

• Performing a complete survey of the Lower GI tract with a forward viewing video-endoscope.
  
  
• Performing basic therapeutic procedures
  
  
• Recognition of typical lesions and abnormalities.
  
  
• Performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in patients with different colon anatomies.
