for Minimally Invasive Therapy (MIT) Training. The Simbionix Mentor
Simulators are designed for efficient "hands-on" training
of physicians in advanced endoscopic procedures, the improvement of
Continuing Medical Education (CME), and economic and safe medicine.
Our computerized endoscopic simulators provide physicians with a unique opportunity to learn the skills and coordination required in MIT. The concern for patient safety is removed while the physician practices on procedures to the extent required to develop proficiency. Difficult procedures may be practiced at any time, as opposed to real life where such cases may or may not come along during the training stage. Simbionix is continually working to develop additional case modules for its simulators, thereby providing an ever-widening collection of procedures for training and practice. Cases are developed in collaboration with leading physicians the world over. Our simulators incorporate specialized technologies to provide true-to-life scenarios for endoscopic training.
