Main power supply button doesn't light up.

The AC power cord is unplugged from the wall socket.

Plug the power cord into the wall socket correctly.

Computer power LED is not lit, or the computer doesn't work.

1. The AC power cord is unplugged from the computer.

2. The computer's rear power button is switched off

3. The system's fuse has burnt out.

1. Plug the power cord into the computer socket (as described in the GI Mentor Installation Guide).

2. Switch on the computer's rear power button.

3. Contact Simbionix customer support.

The mouse/keyboard doesn't work. The mouse/keyboard is not plugged in. Plug in the appropriate cords (as described in the GI Mentor Installation Guide).

The computer is turned on, yet I can't see the Login screen. Components are not plugged in correctly. Shut down the computer, turn off the main power supply, plug in all components securely, turn on the main power supply, and restart the computer.
I received the message: "The password is incorrect". The password was incorrectly typed. Check the password, and enter it again using capital letters and lower case letters, as required.
The sound doesn't work

1. The sound cord is unplugged.

2. The sound is muted.

1. Plug in the sound cable (as described in the GI Mentor Installation Guide).

2. Press the "Mute" button on the screen.

"I want to start a case, the scope is inside the mannequin, yet nothing is happening. The procedure doesn't start…"

1. One of the Gastroscopy cases was selected when the mannequin was in its Colonoscopy position, or vice versa.

2. The scope is not correctly plugged in.

3. The scope wasn't re-calibrated.

1. Turn the mannequin or select the appropriate case.

2. Push the scope tightly into its computer's connector.

3. Contact Simbionix customer support.

"I want to start a cyberscopy exercise, the scope is inside the mannequin, yet nothing is happening. The exercise doesn't start…" The mannequin was in its Gastroscopy position and the scope was inserted into the mouth Turn the mannequin to its Colonoscopy position and try again.
"The Map, Air and other Indicators don't work." As a Trainee, you may have limited options defined by the Instructor. Refer to "Enabling/ Disabling Instructional Aids" in the Instructor's Manual.
I received the message:"Get matrix failed". The cable connectors are not correctly plugged in. Shut down the computer, turn off the main power supply, plug in all components securely, turn on the main power supply, and restart the computer.
